African Diaspora 2.0 highlights digital scholarship advancing knowledge about the social, political and historical experiences of Afro-descended people. We disseminate the latest information about research projects, digital tools, and pedagogical practices connecting diaspora studies to digital humanities (DH). Our priority is to forge greater links between the diaspora and DH. Seeking to move conversations beyond discrete practitioners, we encourage conversations between scholarly and non-academic communities and across disciplinary boundaries. In order to facilitate networking, we invite you to use this space to showcase cutting edge scholarship, to share teaching experiences and to spread ideas related to the digital diaspora. Ultimately, we hope new collaborations, initiatives and digital connections will occur between novices and experts both locally and globally.
