The Ohio University African Ensemble in residence in the Dance Department at York

The Ohio University African Ensemble will be in residence in the Dance Department at York University from Monday, February 3rd to Friday, February 7th. During their time with the Dance Department, the Ensemble dancers, musicians and directors will be conducting classes, having public showings and doing a presentation in the graduate colloquium.

The public events include:

Wednesday, February 5, 4:00 – 4:45
Lec/Dem/Rehearsal for FA/DANC 1500 Dance Experience in the Faire Fecan Theatre FT (Callison)

Wednesday, February 5, 5:00 – 6:15
Sharing with FA/DANC 2511A West African Dance McLean Performance Studio (ACE244 Amegago)

Thursday, February 6, 5:00 – 7:00
Graduate Colloquium presentation (ACE 311 Wootten) Dr. Zelma Badu-Younge and Dr. Paschal Yao Younge
